SUNDAY SWAG: Meljean Brook

Welcome to Sunday Swag! I absolutely love swag. I think it's the perfect thing to collect. You can have a whole bunch and it doesn't take up a lot of room. One day it occurred to me that a lot of people might have the same feelings about swag as I do. That's when the idea of a Sunday Swag feature came to me. I could both show off my love of swag and give some away! Plus, it's a great way of spreading the word about all the fabulous authors out there!

About Meljean and her books

Meljean was raised in the middle of the woods, and hid under her blankets at night with fairy tales, comic books, and romances. She left the forest and went on a misguided tour through the world of accounting before focusing on her first loves, reading and writing–and she realized that monsters, superheroes, and happily-ever-afters are easily found between the covers, as well as under them, so she set out to make her own.

Meljean lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and daughter.

Meljean is the author of the Iron Seas steampunk romance series. She has written a guide to the world (including a map) on my website. The third novel in the series, Riveted, will be released on Tuesday.

Meljean also writes a paranormal romance series, the Guardians. That series guide is also on her website, including a "The Story So Far" feature, which allows you to catch up on all of the books that previously released in the series if you start after the first installment.

I have some great swag for you guys this week! There is swag from Meljean's Guardians series that includes RTC's, an autographed, over-sized postcard and a bookmark.

There is also swag from Meljean's Iron Seas series. This swag pack has RTC's bookmarks, a postcard and a rack card on steampunk.

There will be 4 winners to this giveaway because each winner will get both sets of swag! Just fill out the rafflecopter form to enter this INTERNATIONAL giveaway!

    1. I only recently found out about Meljean's steam punk books and it was my son who told me about them! I definately going to find out more about Riveted that's being released this week but want to check on the other her other books as well so I'm going over to Meljean's website to find out more.

I loved how in the post you said that Meljean was raised in the middle of the woods, and hid under her blankets at night with fairy tales, comic books, and romances! It reminded me of when my sons were young whenever we went camping my husband would tell my sons the story of Snargarvits who was covered with flime and that little boys had to go to bed early so he wouldn't catch them! I think they were 3 and 4 when he first told them the story but it also fueled their desire to read - everything! Imagination is a wonderful thing!

My older son believes it is important to read a menage of different types of books and when he was growing up always got his friends to read as well! I knew when he read The Trilogy of the Rings when he was in the 5th grade I'd never have to worry if he'd or his younger brother would share my husband's and my love of reading.

I may be 64 but I love finding new genres to read because to me books are the eyes of the world.
